Hailing from the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Dr. Almecci embarked on her academic journey at Temple University for her undergraduate studies. Her quest for medical knowledge led her to Kasturba Medical College in India, where she immersed herself in a spectrum of medical conditions, shaping her into the exceptional physician she is today.

Distinguished by her dedication, Dr. Almecci pursued further excellence through a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Stony Brook University, NY, under the guidance of top-rated endocrinologists. In 2012, she brought her expertise to Maryland, joining Endocrine and Diabetes Associates, LLC in Bethesda, MD, where her commitment and compassion resonated with her patients until 2024.

Dr. Almecci is a board-certified expert in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and continues to be part of the medical community as a proud member of the Endocrine Society.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Almecci finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether immersed in a good book, staying active, or cherishing moments with her family.  Notably, her passion extends to the world of arts and crafts, where she explores the realms of drawing, knitting, and various art media.
